Change the starter or buy a new one

I left the house that early morning and headed to my good old car to head to the office. The dazzling sun  was just beginning to appear over the horizon, filling the strip of the sea with a purple sheen. There was absolutely no time to admire the sunrise. At the office, a new complex investigation awaited me.

I turned the key in the ignition and, instead of cheerfully starting the engine, heard an ominous rattle. The engine, of course, did not even think to start. After several unsuccessful attempts, I gave up making fun of the starter.

While waiting for the tow truck, I remembered that the starter started making strange sounds a week ago and now the main question that I had to solve was: try to repair the old starter or buy a new one.

In the first case, there is a risk of running into an unqualified service or the use of low-quality spare parts. The second option is a little more expensive, but much more reliable.

I decided not to tempt fate and bought a new Bosch starter. Why risk it when you can choose a high quality and reliable original quality part at a reasonable price?
