Bosch Connected Repair will help workshops to complete tasks up to 60% faster

  • New technology Bosch allows you to combine the service equipment of an auto repair shop into a single network
  • Bosch Connected Repair reorganizes the service station and saves service time
  • CoRe makes the car service chain transparent to the customer

Modern auto repair shops use various equipment and programs that require the entry of data about the customer, car, faults and necessary maintenance. Also requires constant updating of this information. For ease of data storage and improving the efficiency of work auto mechanics, Bosch offers a new software solution, Bosch Connected Repair (CoRe), which integrates software, equipment and information about the vehicle and its owner into one system.

The CoRe software can be integrated with the management program of the auto service (for example, 1C Car Service), in which the master accepter enters the vehicle data. Using the program, this data is available on all diagnostic devices connected to the CoRe software. This means that the software integrates the service equipment of the workshop, which has a computer, into a single network, thereby making the chain of service processes transparent to any of its links: from the master receiver to the diagnostician. Vehicle data is entered only 1 time by the master receiver, which eliminates the need to identify the vehicle during diagnostics at different sites, for example, when checking the air conditioner or diagnosing the engine. Also, for the convenience of working with information, vehicles, first discussed in the workshop, are assigned a unique identification number.

The database of Connected Repair allows service employees who have access to it to find out at any time the current condition of a car repair. The list of equipment compatible with CoRe includes equipment for servicing air conditioning systems (Bosch ACS 753, ACS 653 and their variants), chassis geometry analysis (Bosch FWA), diagnostics of control units (Bosch KTS + ESI [tronic]), motor diagnostics ( Bosch FSA), headlight test (Bosch HTD 815), exhaust gas analysis (Bosch BEA), tire tread depth measurement (Bosch TTM) and brake diagnostics (Bosch BSA).

Thus, Bosch Connected Repair eliminates errors made when manually entering information, and gives employees the opportunity to concentrate on their work. CoRe functionality saves up to 2 minutes of work at each site, which allows you to perform diagnostic procedures up to 60% faster.

In addition, the client, referring to the master-receiver, can always get information about the status of his car. As a result of the work, the CoRe program compiles a report on completed actions, which is sent to the client by e-mail or in paper form. If necessary, reports can be supplemented with photographs of significant parts and spare parts of the car. Photos with comments of diagnosticians are attached to a virtual work card, which not only makes the work visual for the client, but can also help in case of complaints from his side. This approach convinces customers of the reliability of the selected service.

Bosch Connected Repair can be run on any workshop computer that meets the minimum requirements. The program requires licensing. For better performance, Bosch recommends creating a separate server, and also consider the following recommended parameters: Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008, Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB hard disk (SSd), free disk space 20% HDD + 10 GB Bosch CoRe software is subject to the same subscription rules as Bosch ESI [tronic].
